Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases
Self-emptying bases make robotic vacuums worth the cost, particularly for homes with a large footprint. It means that you don't need to empty the bin several times throughout the run, which keeps it running more frequently and keeps your floors cleaner.
Its Lidar navigation does a great job of mapping, and you can use the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. But it didn't avoid obstacles like shoes or furniture legs, as well as the j7 or Q Revo.
1. iRobot Combo J7+
The Combo J7+ is iRobot's first robot mop and vacuum. It is a re-imagining of the iRobot J7 robotic vacuum, and adds a tiny reservoir of water, a robotic arm that can raise and lower mopping pads, as well as some new sensors. The result is a powerful two-in-one cleaner that we've discovered to be superior to other robot vacuums that don't mop.
The Combo J7+ doesn't have the features of smart mopping which our top pick has, but it still effectively cleans. It comes with a highly efficient brush roll that is effective on hard floors as well as carpeted rooms. It can be able to get between rugs and furniture without issue, even on steep stairs. It has a powerful suction that we found to be impressive, even though it is not as strong as the iRobot Roomba's 694.

What sets the Combo J7+ apart from other robot vacuums is its mopping feature that uses an incredibly small rotating brush to scrub the floor. iRobot calls it SmartScrub and it operates by moving back and forth, resembling the way you scrub your floor using a mop. It can be activated on a room-by-room basis in the iRobot app.
Like other iRobot robots The J7 Plus is easy to setup and use. It is also simple to maintain. The dust bin and water tank are both removable, which means they're simple to clean. The iRobot App lets you watch instructional videos on how to maintain the various components of the machine. For instance replacing the mopping pad and filtering the water tank.
The only issue is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if you have mopping pads attached and its 210 ml water tank is filled. It will only vacuum if one of these are not present. The iRobot App allows you to monitor the water tank and receive alerts when it is low.
2. Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is an affordable robot that does a great job at mopping and vacuuming. Its mopping performance is particularly impressive, especially for the cost. It mops well on carpets and hard floors and picks up fine to large particles (think: hair tangles, kitty litter, cereal of all sizes). It's also great for cleaning up dried spills, messes and stains. It also cleans stairs and easy-to get-stuck areas well.
The mopping system uses a rotating pad to scrub floors with water to lift dirt and grime, including on spots that are stuck. The pad is also thoroughly dried with 45 minutes of warm air following each cleaning to prevent unpleasant odors and mold. You can control the robot with the Roborock App or with your voice to start mopping or change settings, and much more.
Its vacuuming performance is top-notch as well. It is equipped with a powerful vacuum and a high-efficiency filter that is able to capture all types of debris, from fine to large. The only drawback is that it doesn't work as well against pet hair on carpet. After two vacuuming sessions at maximum power 10% of pet hair was still on the surface. This is not unheard of.
The Q Revo is a great product, with its excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. It also has superb mopping and cleaning capabilities. It's not as good as the higher-end robot vacuum and mop, however it's a great choice for anyone with a limited budget. It also charges up to 30% quicker than its predecessors and works with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This adds a lot of functionality for a small price. 3. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum / mop robot that works well and offers great features at a very affordable cost. The installation was simple and took just five minutes. After removing the tape for manufacturing and protective plastic, a quick scan of the QR code on the app starts you off. The app is easy to use and guides you through each step. Once configured the Cube is ready to begin mapping and cleaning.
The app allows you to customise your home layout and create maps that the robot can follow. The app allows you to divide rooms into smaller segments so that they can be targeted more specifically. You can create an outline of the kitchen, and another one for the living room. The robot will then sweep the floors at different times in each room.
Compared to other robots that I've tested, the Yeedi Cube has a unique design that gives it an industrial look. Its base station has an edgier design than other robots, featuring the dirty-water tank and autoempty feature on one end and the vacuum on another. The reusable mop pad is also separate, slotting into the top of the robot and affixed to a handle at the front for easy removal and refilling.
The vacuum performs as well as any other robot I've tried and comes with two side brushes instead of the single one in the majority of models. This improves the coverage of the vacuum and makes it less likely to drop debris from furniture and walls. However, it has some issues with object detection and a tendency to run at full speed through objects, like the tassel rug I have in my office.
4. iRobot Braava Jet m6
The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is an efficient robot mop that can do its job well and keeps your floors looking great every day. It isn't able to do the vacuuming tasks of other hybrids on this list and does not transition to carpet or rugs like they do, however it comes with an extended battery life, smart mopping features and is a good choice for keeping your floors clean in a small or mid-sized house.
It can also be utilized in dry sweeping mode, sweeping up to 1,000 sq. feet. in a single charge. It can also map your floor plan using the iRobot app and can clean rooms in a sequence using compatible Roomba vacuums.
In wet mopping, the m6 makes use of precision sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It was fascinating to watch, and it was able to remove even the most stubborn dried-in coffee and juice stains from my floors. It can be set up to use less water or greater than the maximum amount specified by the app.
The iRobot App is among the most user-friendly applications on the market. It makes it easy to sync with your home wifi. It comes with user-friendly features like scheduling, partitioning rooms and creating no-go zones that allow you complete control over the machine. It also lets you check the remaining battery power so that you can get an accurate estimate of how much time it will last before it needs to be docked and recharged. The m6 is available at My Robot Centre in the UK for £499 and the iRobot store in the US for $399, and on Amazon (where it's currently available for sale). It's available in graphite and white.
5. Shark RV2610WA
It's no secret that robot vacuums and mops are a practical method of keeping your home clean without lifting a finger however they do be expensive to purchase. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robot mop and vacuum that comes with XLHEPA Self-Empty base which we reviewed, retails at $699 / PS559 / approximately AU$1,054. If you don't need the charging base, it will still cost $549/PS395 or approximately $775 AU.
Shark RV2610WA could be a great option for anyone who is looking for a machine that is flexible and able to do both vacuuming as well as mopping. It makes use of sonic mopping to scrub your floors at a rate of 100 times per minute, and it's capable of deep cleaning stubborn stains using its included stain-lifting solution. The app lets you program the machine to clean at a certain time and date. It also comes with an advanced feature that lets you to control your robot while you're away.
As far as vacuuming goes it appears that the Shark performs well and is able to pick up most debris, however, it's not as effective on carpets. robot vacuum mops to trap pet hair in the brushroll, and the dirt compartment can fill up quite quickly. It also has a number of components that require regular maintenance and replacement, which could result in recurring costs over time.
For the money There are better choices on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers superior performance on both bare floors and carpets with high pile. It's more sturdy and comes with a bigger dust bin and can move over obstacles such as electrical cords with ease. The iRobot cleaner is more expensive but worth it if you want an all-purpose vacuum that can perform both tasks at a whim.
